Brand strategy built from your customers, not a workshop

Most marketing fails before the first ad runs, because nobody agreed what the company is for. So we start with customer interviews, a Meta Ad Library competitor teardown, and Ahrefs search demand. Then we write your position, message, voice and channel plan into one document you own.

  • Positioning and messaging
  • Customer interviews
  • Meta Ad Library teardowns
  • Google Ads Transparency Center
  • Ahrefs search demand
  • Naming and first-pass name checks
  • Tone of voice guide
  • Visual identity brief
  • Go-to-market plan
  • Channel budget split
  • Trustpilot and G2 reviews
For you if
You sell something good but cannot say in one line why someone should pick you.
Not for you if
If you already know your position and only need a logo, go straight to a designer.

Short answer

What is brand strategy?

Brand strategy is a written decision about who you sell to and why they should pick you. It sets your message, your name, your look and your tone of voice. It also decides which channels get money and why, so every campaign starts from the same answer.

What changes

01

One line everyone repeats

Your team, your website and your ads all say the same thing about why you exist.

02

Channels chosen on evidence

Money goes to the channels the research supports, not to whatever a sales rep pitched last week.

03

One page, not a sixty slide deck

It sits in your Google Drive or Notion and gets opened before every campaign, not filed.

What you get

  1. 01

    Research pack

Customer interview notes, plus your rivals' ads pulled from Meta Ad Library and Google Ads Transparency Center. Search demand from Ahrefs sits alongside, summarised so you can read it in ten minutes.

  2. 02

    Positioning and messaging

A one-line position, three proof points, and the messages for each buyer type. Tested by reading them to real customers before we call them final.

  3. 03

    Naming and identity brief

Name options checked against trademark registers, domains and handles on Instagram, TikTok and LinkedIn. Then a written brief and mood board for the designer, so the logo follows the strategy.

  4. 04

    Tone of voice guide

Rules with examples: a LinkedIn post, an Instagram caption and a WhatsApp Business reply, in your voice. We rewrite three of your live pieces so the guide is proven, not theory.

  5. 05

    Go-to-market and channel plan

Which channels get money, in what order, with the split written as shares of the budget. Google Ads, Meta, TikTok, Klaviyo and SEO each get a written reason to be in or out.

How it works

  1. 01

    Interview your customers

We interview your customers, tear down rivals in Meta Ad Library, and pull demand from Ahrefs. No opinion gets written down until the research is in.

  2. 02

    Write the strategy

Position, messages, name, voice, identity brief and channel plan go into one document. You read a draft, we argue it through on a call, then we lock it.

  3. 03

    Keep it honest

We set measures in Google Analytics and your CRM, the tool holding your customer list, before launch. At ninety days we review, and if a backed channel is not earning, the plan changes.

One clear answer to what you are for, and a channel plan that follows from it.

FAQ

Questions we get a lot.

What does a brand strategy from you actually include?

Six things, all written down. Who you sell to and why they pick you. The messages for each buyer. Naming help if the name is the problem. A brief and mood board for the designer. A tone of voice guide with examples. And a channel plan that says where the money goes and why. It is one document, and you own it.

How do you do the research?

Three ways. We interview your customers, usually eight to twelve, recorded and read back. AI transcribes the calls; one of us reads every line. We pull your rivals apart: their ads in Meta Ad Library and Google Ads Transparency Center. Their pages in Ahrefs, their reviews on Google and Trustpilot. Then we check search demand, so we know what people type when they need you. Nothing in the strategy rests on a guess.

Do you design the logo and the visual identity?

No, and we say so up front. Momin sets the direction: the mood board, the brief, and what the look must say. A designer we trust, or one you already have, draws the logo, colours and type in Figma. We sit in on the reviews so the design keeps following the strategy. You get the source files, not just a PDF.

How long does it take?

Interviews set the pace. Getting eight customers on a call takes a few weeks. So the full strategy usually runs six to eight weeks. Naming adds time, because trademark and handle checks cannot be rushed. If you only need positioning and a channel plan, it is quicker. We give you the dates on the call, not a vague range.

What could go wrong?

The usual failure is a strategy nobody uses. A slide deck with a mission, a vision and the word innovative in the values. We refuse to write that. The other risk is that the research tells you something you did not want to hear. Customers may buy you for a reason you never mention. When that happens we say it plainly, and the strategy follows the evidence, not the brief.

Is my company too small for brand strategy?

Probably not. Small companies need it most, because they cannot afford to spend on six channels and hope. If you have paying customers we can interview, there is enough to work with. No customers yet? We do a lighter version: rivals, search demand and a first position to test. Work with us starts with the Website and Marketing Audit, so you can judge us first.

What do you need from me?

Three things. A list of customers we can call, ideally a mix of happy, lost and recent. Two hours of your time for the founder interview, because your story is part of the research. And read access to what you already have. Google Analytics, Search Console, Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads and your CRM: HubSpot, Zoho CRM or GoHighLevel. We read them ourselves, so you do not have to export anything.

What if it does not work?

A strategy cannot fail on its own. It fails when the channel plan runs and nothing comes back. So we do not hand it over and leave. We set measures in Google Analytics and your CRM before launch, then check at ninety days. If a channel the plan backed is not earning, we change the plan. If the position itself is wrong, we go back to the interviews and find out why.

How do we stop?

The strategy is a project with an end. Once the document is signed off and the ninety-day review is done, there is no ongoing commitment. It lives in your own Google Drive or Notion, so it is yours for good. If you ask us to run the channels afterwards, that is month to month. You can stop any month, with your accounts and your data intact.

Who do I actually talk to?

Momin Tariq. He runs the interviews, writes the strategy and briefs the designer. Zain Masood joins for the channel plan. He runs the ads accounts and the tracking, so he knows what each channel takes. There is no account manager between you and the people doing the work. You message one of us on WhatsApp Business, and one of us answers.

Written by Momin Tariq, co-founder, content and campaigns. This is the work Momin does.
